Body is made of Cast Iron. We have two disc options that being Ductile iron chrome plated (Pinned or Pinnless) or 304 Stainless steel. Standard liner is NBR but we do have other options being EPDM, Viton or PTFE. All Uni-Flo Butterfly’s are supplied with a cartridge seat design. The cartridge seat is a unified, rigid component that is formed by bonding the elastomer seat to a hard, dense phenolic backing. This results in keeping the elastomer from shifting during instillation. Reduces seat tearing and fatigue. Minimizes seat swell and lowers opening and closing torques.
